Bill Peel
Dr. Bill Peel equips leaders to grow God-honoring enterprises and understand the important role of work and business in God’s kingdom.
He is the Founder of 24Seven Faith and has spent thousands of hours helping Christians bridge the gap between Sunday worship and Monday work. He is an award-winning author/co-author of eight books (in multiple languages) and a recognized leader in the global faith-at-work movement.
Bill is a co-founder of the Faith@Work Summit and Mission2Monday, an international faith-at-work alliance which gathers business, academic, and ministry leaders from around the world to collaborate and learn from one another. He speaks at churches and conferences and consults with individuals, churches, and business leaders—helping Christians bring their faith to bear in every area of life. (See speaking venues here.)
Drawing on experience as a pastor, business consultant, and faculty member, Bill brings theological depth and real-world insight to any conversation or presentation. He earned a doctorate in Workplace Theology, Ethics, and Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Seminary, a master’s degree in Bible Exposition from Dallas Seminary, a B.A. from Southern Methodist University, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the Cox School of Business at SMU. Bill and his wife, Kathy, have three grown sons and eight grandchildren. They are active members of Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas.
A New Calling
Bill’s journey toward a biblical theology of work began when an elder at the first church he served told him that God’s heroes don’t stand behind pulpits. Ten years later, he stepped from behind the pulpit to guide workplace Christians to discover and pursue their calling at work.
Over the last 39 years, Bill has spent thousands of hours with ordinary workers, business leaders, and professionals to understand their world and formulate solutions to their dilemmas for bringing faith to work. Drawing on experience as a pastor, business consultant, and university and seminary faculty member, he brings theological depth and real-world insight to the conversation.
