April 22: Workplace Leaders Forum

Park Cities Presbyterian Church

"Doing Kingdom Business in Dallas, Texas"

Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert is a game changer. Since taking office in 2007, he not only has taken on corruption in city government with sweeping ethics reform, but he is determined to make sure that every part of Dallas has the opportunity to prosper. As a follower of Jesus, Leppert is committed, as the prophet Jeremiah says, to seek the "peace and prosperity of the city" by pursuing policies that dramatically improve the quality of life in Dallas.

Prior to becoming mayor, Leppert led major corporations in the areas of construction, financial services and real estate. As CEO of Turner Construction, he moved the Fortune 500 firm’s headquarters to Dallas. He also was chair of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce and still serves on its Executive Committee.

A lifelong community volunteer, he has served numerous community groups and charitable organizations including, West Dallas Community School.

On April 22, hear Mayor Leppert's vision for Dallas and how faith influenced his decision to run for Mayor and has guided him through the task of making Dallas a great city for all its citizens.
